 Taken half way up the very isolated Kirkstone Pass in the Lake District. The weather was pretty abysmal during the whole of my four day trip - low cloud meant that the mountains and hills were obscured and I only took a handful of photographs all the time I was away.

I would have liked to have included a;; of the curve of the road in the shot, but there was a pile of plastic buckets, pipes and such what just out of shot, and as I use LightRoom to edit would have had no means to disguise or remove them. Some day I will save enough for Photoshop!

Gorgeous. Bleak, yes, but oh so beautifully rendered! That lovely tree minding the landscape. Someone has to, and he's perfect for the job.

Beautiful black and white. Reminds me of an area in Oklahoma, except this is a LITTLE more hilly than it was there. Beautiful!!!
