I racked my brain about this challenge.. and racked it, and racked it some more.. and then it dawned on me. I have kittens.. I have baby booties.. and I have mediocre craft skills. What better Fairy Tale can you get out of those three things than Puss in Boots!?
However, things didn't go exactly as planned. The kittens were *horribly* un-cooperative, my lighting wasn't the best, and I had no hat. (It's really missing something without the hat.) Still, it's my first *real* attempt at "studio" photography, so please. Be gentle.
Subject photographed in "close-up" mode on a tripod with ambient lighting, plus light from the right side, and a fill flash. Editing included Cloning in the black areas to remove flash glitter, Hue/Saturation, brightness/contrast, sharpen, and gaussian blur. |

| I really hoped someone will take a chance on this tale. :-) Your photo is so nice, though I would mention a few issues. The kitty is a bit overexposed, I would have tried a softer, diffused lighting. And if only I could see her/his eyes! Maybe her/his attention on the sword would be more effective if the photo wasn't overexposed. |
