Challenge: Close Your Eyes (Advanced Editing VII)

First of all -- I learned to hate this challenge very quickly, because my first thought was: "Close your eyes and I'll kiss you, tomorrow I'll miss you, remember I'll always be true..."
And I sang it all week!
And I'm still singing it!
We need another song challenge so I can get this out of my mind.
Oh wait, this wasn't a song challenge.
So, my husband took me to downtown colonial williamsburg and I held onto him and walked around with my eyes closed. I took 200 shots and they all stunk. So we gave up and started driving home. On the way home, I saw these beautiful flowers on the side of the road, my sweet husband turned around and then we realized that there was absolutely no place to pull off. So I opened my window, closed my eyes, and panned as we went by. And panned. And panned.
It's because I remembered some beautiful shots that someone did from a moving car, panning at trees. Does anyone remember who did these shots? I'd love to look at them again and try the technique some more. It was quite interesting!
And a posthumous nod! How cool is that!

Magical.
the grey in the middle is a bit annoying to the eye, but besides it, great blur and very interesting focus! |
