 Rosalie, who played the role of Periwinkle in the end-of-the-year elementary show last school year. I requested her to done her costume once again for this challenge.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

A beautiful portrait that shows off your signature ability to capture the souls of children. The model has a great pose and expression, and I like the hair covering half her face. The side of her nose is perhaps a bit bright; I find the contrast with the shadows a bit distracting. The photo is otherwise well-exposed. Her shoulder is even brighter, but that works well, giving the photo an overall light fairy tale look. Great photo!

This is a beautiful portrait...not sure where it fits into the fairy tails though. The hair across her nose is slightly distrating as is the bright colors to the right...

I don't exactly know why, but this photo just intrigues me and draws me in every time I view it. For me, the fairy tale is in her eyes.

You actually got a girl this age to pose for you. Kudos to the cooperative model and excellent composition. You might've cropped a little more off of the left side, but I really like it as is.

Excellent portrait! The colors, sharpness, and composition are all great. I like the subtle use of a prop to add to the fairy tale theme and the interesting 'attitude' on her face. One of my top three!

Beautiful photo, I don't get it though. A know a Periwinkle is a type of snail and looked it up in the dictionary and also found it a type of bush. Is there a fairytale character named Periwinkle?

The lighting and saturation on this photo are absolutely *STUNNING*. Her expression is very anti-classic, and a little haunting. I could do without the flower in the background, it's color seems to throw the shot off a little, but an excellent photograph. Very reminiscent of fairy child..

I do believe in fairies.. I do.. I do!
