| At first I was torn on your image, defining background. After several looks and voting on the last day I came to the conclusion [IMO] you did meet the challenge. Now that I have that settled I could vote confidently on the image, which is great. Love it, should be in the top 3. 10-vote |

Very delicate looking shot. Love the focus of the feathers... great detail. The lighting looks like it may be a little harsh at the stem? But perhaps that is just the color... rather than lighting.
Like the glass bead/water drop/object that is laying upon the flower. Great color on color. The stark black background really makes these two objects pop off the page. Originally, I gave this a 6, but I'm bumping it to an 8 after further review.
