 After an intentionally nasty entry in the Drug challenge, I thought I would go all sentimental on this entry, then go for a truly annoying entry in Color on Color.

Shot with an off camera flash in the frame, desaturated and multiplied to darken up the darks. I dodged out to make the smoke because I don't smoke in the house, even for a challenge, and the piano is too heavy to move outside.

It's odd but... when you said you'd added a feature to the image... I said to my self, "Smoke?? WHAT SMOKE?"

I don't think it added anything to the image.
Certainly not worth the risk.

I loved the concept captured - the picture illustrates the title perfectly. Lighting creates a moody feel - he is playing the blues because his love is scorned. So many musical keys and none can woo the heart of the girl he adores. Congrats on the ribbon!

Lovely shot. LOVE the darkness with the light. Seems to be some dust that could have been cloned out near the light... but other than that... I don't think I wouldn't have done anything else differently. Good job

This is my favorite of this challenge. Im sure this is a ribbon. The lighting is great, the over exposed sunglasses and reflection is perfect. You even catch a little twinkle on your right hand bouncing from the piano key.
