This is our newest family member - Sirius. Taking pictures of puppies is not easy. First to keep him safe had to sterilize the whole area. Then Sirius was more interested in playing, chasing his tail, or barking at the box. So, we played for about 40 minutes:-)

When he got a little tired, he was content to sit next to the box....and chew on it. This was just one of three that I got his attention. And this is the ONLY one he rested his paw on the key ring.

Now we have a great portrait shot of him to put on the family wall:-)

Commentary - My objective for the composition was to show 'a key moment' that waits for you. Dogs are known to be faithful companions - they will wait for you to come home and are thrilled with your arrival. What is in the box?... - some sort of treasure of which you the viewer will determine according to what you feel it is. The pup/dog waits faithfully for your arrival - holding that key for you. Your 'key moment' is what awaits you both with the faithful companion and what lays in the box. For the pup, the key moment is your happy arrival 'home' to claim the box and of course some love and attention.

Too cute. Love the pup in the shot. Beautiful black and white. Nice detail and DOF The tilt of the dog's head is just perfect.

It's just not fair using a cute Puppy to make us look at your key longer....lol. Great in B&W simple black background brings out the subjects....(obviously) and the letterbox boarder works well here.
