Forgive them Stephen. Nobody noticed the subject is the bird's blue eyes, a perfect background match. Great job!!!

A very nice shot of a red bird in a grey tree with a nice blue sky as the background. However, in my own opinion it does not meet the challenge. With that said I had to give a lower than usual score.

Again a nice picture! Good luck in the challenge.

I really do not see how this pertains to the challenge of having the subject and backpack ground the same color. Too bad you didn't get a blue jay.

I don't think this is the color on color the challenge called for. The brown on red on blue are a little much. The lighting looks harsh, and the focus doesn't appear to be on any one subject.

Great contrast in colors, but this feels in between; closer in to show more bird, or further back to show more tree with the bird as a bright accent would work for me.

"Take a picture of a colored subject or subjects on the same color background." .. this is a red bird against a blue backdrop.. doesn't meet challaneg for me.
