I think you made a wise choice to put this into B&W for the color would just distract from the 'action' and idea that this composition is presenting. The title identifies the place but I see a reflection of life and of the journey. The girl is taking a rest on the steps and looking over her shoulder at the remaining climb she will have to make. I see this composition as symbolizing life and that life is a journey of steps you take to get to the top where your journey ends. Every now and then one takes a pause on the steps when you reach a certain 'life stage'. But once done, the climb begins again. There is a pigeon in flight that seems to be emerging from her. It is as if, her mind is taking flight - she seems to be reflecting on the span of years ahead of her. |

| Nice flow and lines. I think if you had cropped out the kid on the right would had given it even more flow and additional visual line going up with the birds and other people in the background. Very nice shot. |
