Love the way this works. Cool that this is not your thing. |

Thanks for your comments everyone. The white border is actually a concrete wall bathed in bright sunlight. The exposure was for the water under the pier, which resulted in blowing out much of the wall. The photo really appeals to me for some reason. Usually this is not my kinda thing, but playing with contrasts and exposures opened my eyes to things i never saw before. Amazing how few people voted on this challenge given the number of entries. Should the rule be you need to vote on 100% of images for your entry to count in challenges like this? |

Love the framing here and the contrast between the rich colors and strong textures of the pilings and water and the washed out look of the window wall. Your decision to weight the bottom was excellent. In my top 10. |

Interesting... I really enjoy the image. The title adds even more.
I hope this does well for you.

One of my favorites of the bunch. I'm drawn in, you've got me. I need to see more, to understand the foundation, to feel the strength, to know the beauty underneath. Great color, too! |

boy, oh boy....your framing on this has to be killing you, DPC'rs don't like frames (Lord knows I found that out the hard way)...much less ones that take up the majority of the picture...I only want to see the pillars and your actual photo is soooo small in comparison |
