She is not wearing a contact lens like some of you thought. This is the reflection of a lamp that had some stars on it. That was the only lighting I used.

| Very nice focus and clarity. I love the color as well. I have not decided if I like the star or not. I think I do cause that makes it a bit more than "just another eye shot". It makes it unique. The lighting is ok, I am curious to see what this would have looked like with full lighting and no shadow. Good luck in the challenge. |

| Striking. I guess that\'s a contact lens. It\'s pretty cool. I love the colours in her iris. The photo doesn\'t grab me as a whole, but it\'s very good. |

| That's a really pretty eye, and a well done photograph. The only thing I would hcange is the starlight. if you backed up the actual light further from the cutout of the star I don't think you'd have the round light showing inside the star. Great idea though, and done really well, congrats :) |

Whoa!
The detail in the eye is fantastic. The star is cool, but in this case I think it's an unecessary distraction.
Still a great shot, would love to see this full at size. Well done. |
