I like the tangle of woods around the little cabin and the almost monochrome colour range. Maybe a slightly different viewpoint could have placed the cabin higher or lower than it is for a more interesting composition.

I like the trees in the foreground. I like the patches of direct sunlight too. If the cabin (shed) had windows, the image would be more poignant I think.

I like that it has that hidden in the woods feeling the way you shot it and nice processing.

don't get mad at me, but i have to say crop again. i think tighter and straightened this would have much more impact.

Love the PP, would have liked to see the cabin further down the picture.

Isn't that where the Unabomber lived? ;-) Great processing!

Maybe the kids running through the scene would have added that extra 'something'.

That building's color and texture has me mesmerized.

I'm not a big fan of the trees in the forground. You should have had an ax with you (that way all the kids could talk about that crazy lady chopping the tree down on the playground) On a more serious note...I think maybe a different agle would have worked better for me

I like this shot and agree a wider/landscape format would have worked better in the challenge. Don't you just hate when civilisation gets in the way of a good shot.

couldn't get a long shot in this... it was at a playground... any further and it would have included kids or the playground.
as for processing... I was trying something new... something different.

I,m sorry to say I only gave this 4 as it doesn't give me the feeling of loneliness also I think the processing has turned it into a cheap copy.

The Unabomber had one like this. A long shot might have worked better than a tight shot.
