OUCH....
knew I should have followed my gut and unsubmitted this before rollover

Post Challenge:

Thank the heavens this challenge is over. I will listen to my gut next time and slap myself silly or unsubmit before rollover when I "know" that it's gonna sink.

I thought I was in for the brown but, pleasantly surprised that it wasn't.

Pretty sad when you are pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a brown, huh? ;)

Different. The flame is "off" for me. I like the gold and brown tones.

I like the composition, the use of colour and light. The unfortunate detail for me is that it looks like your focus was more on the front foot area of the dragon and not so much on his head. A tricky shot because of the macro nature of it, but I would have focused on his eye, made that area sharp, and let the flame be a burst of light to the side as it is now.
