 I have two images. One is a portrait that is straight up technically good, with little emotion. And this one.

I entered this one because, well, I like it. I like that they aren't looking at me because that makes it feel a little more like they are just freely dancing, and because without their faces, they are no longer K., S., and M., but any little girl.

I like that the crop is weird because it makes it feel like they are having fun and I am spying on them (I wasn't; they were fully aware of camera and "posing" for me).

And I like the high contrast because, well, I like high contrast.

I do not expect this to score over a 4.2, but a 5 would be nice.

I'm not a fan of empty backgrounds. But I like the way it blends into the overexposed highlights. I wish there more of them. I like the random positioning, random (but close) framing. This is what Surrealism really looks like. It's not gas masks in deserts.
