Then I find it very odd that this happened to you :-(
Unfortunately I have no advice re: which recovery software works best, as I've yet to have to do this for myself...

When you put the card back in the camera, can you see the shots on the camera back?
If so, then the camera can see the shots at least.
It's worth a try.
If the camera can see them, then you may have luck transferring them via the camera hooked up to your PC. |

if its a Sandisk card, don't they usually come with recovery software? Both of mine did.
If it isn't Sandisk then... hmmm... |

Chocolate is always good too.
When you were shooting did you chimp any of the shots and they were viewable?
Sounds like your mem card has gone up the spout (not what you wanna hear I know)
Data recovery may help honestly, get a low level recovery tool and leave it on soak all night while you eat tons of ice cream and chocolate.
I sincerely wish you all the best |

Have you tried PC inspector Smart Recovery? There's even a free version. I had the same problem last week, and it recovered pretty much all my files |

If it's a Sandisk card, try the recovery software that comes with the card. Otherwise, there are some good threads here linking to various recovery software. If you have not overwritten anything, you should be able to recover everything. |
