I thought this would be better, but what the heck do I know !! I did have 2 shots for this, I bet at the end I will be kicking myself for not entering the one I liked more, but the one my wife and daughters liked better.. |

oh wow we need to start a side challenge for "the shots we wanted to enter but our wives/husbands liked the one i entered, that tanked"

Looks like  vlado is the only one reporting, who is doing well. I'm not disappointed though. Maybe things will improve as the week wears on. Or NOT. |

What a great bunch of photographers on this site! Just some awesome pictures of a simple subject...

Funny you should say that, I've been thinking the same of mine. Don't know what's up with the scores lately, it seems that people are thowing out 2's and 3's a whole lot more often, and don't get me started on the 5's! |

OK, you can flame me starting now, but I didn't think much of many entries this time.
Admittedly, I haven't entered many challenges, but I have reviewed a lot of them.
I usually am "wowed" by the challenge entries I see. Especially the top ten or so in each challenge. That's why I check out this site from time to time. Inspiring, but Very humbling.
You guys gripe, but overall the work on this site is outstanding. It's just the challenge entries for this one are decidedly ho-hum (as I see it).
I think Paynekj said it best, "Competent but uninteresting." That's what I thought of mine to when I entered it. That said, I think it's going to be a very low scoring average.

Pleasantly surprised, I was expecting mid-4's and only entered this because I swore after really enjoying the Fine Arts challenge that I would enter shots even if I thought they wouldn't score well |
