Very cool shot and tutorial, I guess I am confused that the bubble doesn't break when you drop water onto it! So the water just goes through and the bubble stays whole? |

That's exactly what I was wondering. You are actually dripping water through the bubble and it doesn't break? |

Hello to all!

Hi Karen and Nathan! Yes, that's exactly it, the bubble stays hole. I've no idea if the quality of the soap has any effect, but since the drop is very quick the bubble regenerates itself.

I still have to see if it's a compliment or not :-P
I have The Office on my hard drive still to watch, but I'll be on the lookout for Ryan ;-)
Thanks again!

Thank you for this tutorial Joao.
I myself was also surprised to see and read that the drop wouldn't break the bubble.
I believed that a whole box of tricks would have been behind this. But no, it's as simple as can be.

Thanks for this very nice tutorial! I tried it with my photoclub friends. We used two flashes at the sides pointed at the bubble instead of just one at the front. We also tried some shots with milk.

Hi Loren,
It was Topaz Adjust, the portrait smooth helps retain larger details. |
