Hi everyone,

Thanks for all the lovely comments, will get to commenting this week, could only get very quick internet access to make my 1st week post and again to sneak a peak at comments. Will be back at work this week with full access, all your images look so interesting, can't wait to check them all out:)

WOW - I have a Blog!

Well rather I have a Work In Progress - SMILE!

I feel like doing this will somehow be insurance that I commit to the whole year - GRIN!

So it will be an image blog that documents my new life as an Inner City Dweller.

The Silver Lining

Dale, when you post, instead of using the "Insert Hyperlink" button, use the "Insert Thumbnail" button (second one from the end on the right). Use the image number for the thumb. You can also just type in [ thumb ]846220[/ thumb] (without the spaces).

Now the link will be to the page where we can comment....

Thanks so much, Jason. I thought I had figured it out. Doing the thumbnail link is certainly much easier than what I was doing!

Just a suggestion! I feel if we post what camera and the settings as well as the theme of what we are entering it would be a helpful learning experience!

Isn't all that visible if you click on the image?

I'm behind on commenting.......*WILL* catch up these next couple nights. I very much appreciate all the kind commentary I've received......except for you Ben! LOL!!!

Okay.....I agonized over this one as I seriously considered it for the Signature Style challenge......

I guess I'm putting it here 'cause I'm really going to try to develop this collection into something.

Only if you load that info when you put up the image.

I usually just put the date, location, camera & lens.

That other info is a nuisance to deal with when you take 500+ images a week.....8>)

Well I've failed miserably. Didn't get in a photo last week. I'll try and submit two this week so make up for it! Sorry y'all!

Perhaps a tad premature with my week 3 post, but...

Number 6 finally arrived on Sunday, and snapped this yesterday (Monday... can't believe it's 1:52am and I'm not sleeping... but it's just too damn hot... middle of the night and it's still 34.2 degC)
