Read Robert A. Heinlein's The Man Who Sold The Moon and you'll see that under standard property rights laws we have less of a claim than most countries ... ;-)

Matthew: This particular situation involves buying the physical print and reselling it, not making any further copies. There's no license required for that, and there really isn't even any need to even ask for permission, unless to negotiate a reduced price/print for multiple copies ...
