wants to model for me. No nudes, totally clothed and no implied shoot

Now my questions are these.

Is there a special model agreement that I need to be aware of for someone under 18?

Should I insist on a Chaperon for her?

Or should I just pass this one by????

Thoughts????

and

As Always,

Thank you!!

Dunno about a special release, but I'd say definitely on the chaperone.

I would get the parents to sign a model release first and have 1 parent there, or another adult.

There are adult model releases for the over-18s and juniors, which have to be signed by parent/guardian (depending on jurisdiction, I guess). But yes, a model release is generally a must, and I would strongly advise that a parent or other responsible adult is there during the shoot. Just avoids any potential awkwardness later.

Under the law, minors don't have the "capacity" to sign agreements/contracts. So any agreement/contract signed by them would be unenforceable under the law. What you want want is for their parents and/or guardian to sign.
