I started with a D60, from Craigslist. I found out that the week before I bought the D60, the D3000 was announced and the D60 was basically discontinued. I sold the D60 on Craigslist at a profit and got the D3000. A month later, I acquire some extra cash and was torn between a macro lens or a D90. (I know, I know... I shouldn't have bought anything...) Long story shorter, I managed to sell the month-old D3000 for what I paid for it, and upgraded to a fancy new D90.
So, I'm super excited. I kinda liked the D3000, but this D90 is just awesome! I've only had it for a day and I think it's awesome.
Took some sample shots this morning in low-light and some using the 105 end of the 18-105 kit lens. Comments and critiques are welcome, but understand that these are right out of the camera, handheld, no crops, no edits. (My faves are the flag and the one with stars.)

The D3x is a great camera as well:))
You only to buy and sell a few more times and you'll be able to get one. |
