In my quest to be a photojournalist, my most recent assignment in a beginning communications class is for me to conduct an interview with somebody concerned with an upcoming event (tomorrow) called "Out and Proud"... a nationwide celebration of gay rights. I am looking for input on (A) interviewing suggestions, as I am VERY introverted, and (B) advice on the questions I am considering, as follows:

How many years have you been [coordinating] this event?
What do you look forward to the most in heading into the event?
What do you think are the most important circumstances in your life to lead you to want to be active in your role?
How would you rate EKUs tolerance towards gay rights according to past years events?
What 5 suggestions would you have for post-interviews about this event?
Are there any individuals participating or observing in this event today whose experiences you think readers might be interested in reading about?
POST INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
In conclusion to this interview, do you have any suggestions/critique for an amateur interviewer such as me?
are there any questions you might have asked in my place?
And finally, would you agree to a post-event interview with me

Am I missing something important?

ETA: I might add that the person I am interviewing is the coordinator for the event. I will also be conducting interviews with participants, allies, and observers during the event.

I'm shy, so I'm nervous, but it should be fun to meet people.

Sorry I didn't see this post until too late. How did the interview go?

I also missed this post *and* I never heard about a nationwide "Out & Proud" event. Hope your interview went well!
