You don't have to get it in red. And if you get it in Japan you can mix and match the colors. I'm kind of a purist and would go with plain black, but I have to admit, the blue and white Japanese version is kinda nice. |

A true purist would get it in silver, which is the color of the original SLRs back in the day.

this is so hideous i love it.
buy a utmost ugly colored camera and you will never be stopped because of professional look of your camera. plan is simple and great. |

| It's so ugly I may need to restrain myself from beating up the first person that I see using one. But I the Leica S2 still takes the cake for the ugliest camera, IMO. |

Meh, the S2 is the Lurch of cameras while the K-x is the Care Bear.
It's a wash.
Anybody know if the K-x is weather sealed like some of the other Pentax?

Per the list of features at the Pentax Imaging site, it says N/A under weather sealing. Probably have to move up to the K7 for that. |
