That was kind of where I was going when I was talking about how it's so ultimately up to the woman how it needs to be.
The whole concept that this is either a casual or an easy decision is deplorable, and to hassle someone who has fought that emotional struggle, and made the decision to terminate has to be one of the most insensitive acts against another person.
Yes, there are people out there who see it as a method of birth control, which is just plain awful, but that is really the exception to the rule, and it's horrible the way that the anit-abortionists paint pro-choice people in that light to try and make their point.
Funny thing is, though I'm pro-choice, I wish with all my heart that no woman ever has to make the incredibly difficult decision to terminate her pregnancy, but if she decides to, it should only be a matter between her doctor, her partner, and whatever she views as her God, higher power, whatever......she should never have to answer to another human being. And I would hope that her partner has enough empathy to make her fully aware that full and complete support is what's being offered......and the respect to honor her decision.
