1. Submitted a photo for a challenge and then sat and looked at it the next day, and the more you look at it, the less you like it?

2. walked in on a conversation at the wrong moment? ex: "...yesterday, it was this big and only 3 inches long, today it is 8 inches long, has stretch marks, and is green." Found out later they were talking about a zuchinni of some sorts.

1. Of course, it is so common I have tried to submit a day before the deadline, so I can do something with that feeling. I get so deep into editing a shot sometimes that I lose track if it is really going to work here on DPC or not. Turns out the answer is, not, sometimes and given a day to look at it with a cold eye, you can take it out of a challenge where it wouldn't have fared well, and into your portfolio where it can be judged on its own merits.

2. Sometimes, but that one is better than any I've heard.

1) Yes! A few times... Many times...

2) Sometimes! But it happens with the radio in the car almost everyday. I love tuning in just to hear 3 seconds or so and then change channel. That can at times be very funny =)

1. But of course! Little moments of genuine horror, and having to look at it all week is dreary punishment which still hasn't taught me anything. No, that's not true: I have finally learned not to look at it.

2. I tend to mis-hear things in improbable ways. Tends to lighten the moment.
