Kari - those are magnificent shots that have a delightful play of light and shadow, crisp focussing and a very pretty, relaxed looking model.

But you know what ? You shouldn't be surprised with yourself that you took them . . your pictures go from strength to strength and it's a real joy seeing you develop.

:-)

The 3rd one along is my favourite, I love the line leading upto the bride - was this a wedding or a model shoot?

Awesome! beautiful backlighting on the hair. Did you use a fill flash or reflectors or what?

I like the oof out of focus/blurred backgrounds, some with bokeh. Keep it up and someday you'll give david terry some competition over there. I always thought that style puts more emphasis on the subject. It is done in MotionPictures, too.

WOW, thanks you guys! reading your responses totally made my day.

nope, no fill flash or reflector used, all natural light.

really nice work kari! i love the compositions and the b&w tones you managed to achieve through good use of light and processing.
i'd wish for a higher number of diverse poses/looks/emotions from your model but otherwise awesome job!

WELL DONE, Kari! I'm not surprised at the wonderful work you've done for her, but I AM thrilled that you're proud of yourself.
