Last month I visited the Farne Islands off the Northumberland coast for the first time - I was blown away by the bird life. I entered this one  for the May FS; I suspect it wasn't the right choice, and there are others I prefer more. If i don't manage to get back again in the next few weeks I shall definitely make sure I return next year. A truly amazing experience.

| No, just on one of Billy Shiels all-day bird watch trips. You get two hours on Staple Island in the morning and two on Inner-Farne in the afternoon. It's about £25 for the boat fares, and £7ish for landing for non NT members. |

Gorgeous, when ever i see a puffin, I always think of the book The Famous Five and their adventures on Puffin Island.
