could anybody please critique this image for me... what do you all think?

I think it is a striking image. How long did you wait for the clouds to be just right? Without them as they are, this photo would not be the same. Have a try at lowering the camera angle so it is a little more extreme. Perfect choice in using B/W. Also, the lower right (IMHO) is a just little dark and keeps pulling my eye towards it. |

howd u get it to work? all it says for me is, image hosted by tripod.

It's working for me. I like this and the tone you used. It looks like the highlights on the pillars are just a tad blown out though. Other than that, great capture.

I am not seeing the image either, just the hosted by tripod thingy. |

For me it makes a bold statement. A tad too much lettering though, makes it look a little busy. The blue and the green is an interesting choice. I would have gone with red for its psychological factor. Overall, in a challenge, I would give it a five but request a DQ because lettering was added. |

right click on the tripod image and select the properties select the link details and copy into the adress box on a new window to view
BTW the pic is great :) |
