I'll be watching it. The first one I've ever watched from start to finish ... if I can resist changing channels.

I might, out of curiosity, but I've never been able to make it through a whole episode before. We'll see. |

I don't have cable (don't mind), so it kind of freaked me out, like someone was officially leaving DPC. Never seen one episode either.

I AM THAT SOMEONE!
I'm a HUGE Friends fanatic... I have (deep breath) SEVEN seasons on DVD so far... I will be watching this evening and I will probably cry. There, I admitted it. For all you that have never watched it, if you have a sense of humor, you are missing out.

Okay, I feel a LOT better now. I think I might be a little emotional as well, its like losing a close friend.

I have never sat through a whole episode of it either. It's a much 'too friendly/lighthearted' comedy for me, but I guess the title of the show kinda gives that away! I'm more of a George Carlin, Denis Leary, Andrew Dice Clay comedy fan. lol
However,The Shield, freaking rocks! My housemates and I are glued to the TV every Tuesday night. Nothing quite like watching Vic Mackey plot awesomely sinister ideas while kicking the Sh!t out of anyone who gets in his way! |

Sadly, it IS like losing a close friend...or six...
I am a television addict. I love it all--- the West Wing, ER, the Sopranos, the Simpsons, Frasier, Everybody loves Raymond, CSI, Law and Order...it's a wonder I find time to take pictures... (well that and I have a 6 month old too)
I also like to read (for those television snobs who are loathing me now)
But Friends is my favorite.

My wife and I just finished watching it. She was a fan when we got together 5 years ago and we watch it both in syndication and often the new shows on Thursdays. I think it was more of a loss for her but it is a piece of American pop culture and it happens to be one with which she connects well. I felt like the writers lost something a few years ago but I've been waiting to see Ross and Rachel get together. Frankly, I wish they'd had about 7 seasons and ended it with them getting together but I do like the twist with Chandler, Monica and the twins. That has been a decent storyline.
For my money I'll actually stop editing photos and carve out time to watch NYPD Blue on Tuesday nights and 9:00 on Wednesdays is sacred to me. It's West Wing (waiting for the fanfare to finish).
I like the political setting; Lord knows it tons more dramatic than actually watching C-Span.

I haven't watched a complete episode yet. I actually forgot the final episode was coming on tonight...the only thing my TV is ever really on every day is the Cartoon Network (I have three sons) or TV Land (I have a husband). I wonder how the final show turned out...

I can't believe that there are so many non-Friends watching people on DPC! I even watch the daily re-runs. And it's not a chick thing either. I started watching it with a group of Army buddies during my 3 years in the Army. There were a group of us and one of them even cheered OUT LOUD when Ross kissed Rachel for the first time in the coffee house. By the way, I KNEW that they would use the same song during their kiss in this last episode that they used for their first kiss. Did anyone catch that?
Anyway, yes it's sad seeing a bunch of Army "dudes" watching Friends but I've been watching it ever since. I, for one, am pretty happy with the way the show finished.
C-Ya Friends!

I love Friends. It is a huge part of American Pop Culture to me. Its one of the very few shows I watch on a regular basis. Very funny writing, the best of its kind. Besides Married With Children and Freinds, sitcoms suck. I'm watchin it.
