I went out and took some pictures of various flowery things this afternoon and kept wishing I'd come across a little bug or some other interesting thing.... of course I didn't. Came inside, started cropping and editing, and I noticed this:

A dead bug's better than nothing, right? Unfortunately the photo's horribly noisy, and the dead spider's out of focus. Here's a nicer one from the same tree that I just sharpened a tad.

i like the second one very muhc.. vivid colors and sharpness.. but the first one lost some of its quality through cropping i think.. but both are nice captures

Thanks :)

Yes, the first one looks bad. It was not a very good photo to begin with, but I cropped to show the dead bug :)

The dead spider is actually pretty neat, especially since you wanted to find a bug. How serendipitous! The second shot indeed is a very compelling shots and I like the use of the shallow DOF. Nicely executed.

A dead bug is better than a village...
