I was thinking lately that it has been a long time since my PB hit these pages. Nearly 31 months (but who's counting?). Since one of the objectives of this site is to improve one's photography abilities, shouldn't a personal best come along a bit more frequently?
I thought it might be interesting for people who are so inclined to calculate how long it's been since their PB became their PB. Maybe it was luck or a fluke, maybe you've reached a lofty height that is unassailable, or maybe you haven't been hanging around much lately as the months ticked by. Whatever the reason, if you have the interest post your PB here and calculate to the nearest month how humblingly long it's been.
(One benefit of this thread: It will be easy to see everyone's "best" work.)
