How many computer pics are we going to see in this one?

I have some old Macs in the garage, but I don't think I have an Apple II.

Took this one five years ago ...

Someone had just left it out on the sidewalk ....

Just got rid of the Apple IIe when we moved in July. It sat in the closet under the stairs the whole 8 years we lived in the last house, decided we really didn't need to move it for a 4th time.

I've still got one downstairs!

If half the entries are of Apple computers, do you think people will give them all low DNMC votes for not being fruit shots? Last time I looked, the description did not say the apple had to be fruit.

I've also got a Newton...

I'll take my 3.5 now, I guess. I've got my idea that is not DNMC.

Wrongly of course... but in this case you're probably right.

IMO, this is the ONLY thing that will not be DNMC and meets both the challenge title and decription.

I will be giving 2's to everything else.

FYI - That's a Mac, not an Apple II.

I still have a working Mac Color Classic. There are instructions out on the web to convert it to an aquarium, just haven't got around to it.

We have a Mac II in the garage that I keep telling my wife I will make a Macquarium out of. Somehow, this upsets her. Not sure why, I think it's a great tribute to the platform and a unique conversation piece.

Here's an Apple II ad from 1978. Looks like stock and advertisement photo has come a long way...

I had one of those myself and actually worked a few years as a tech and assembler programmer on them. It was THE computer to have!

I just want to make sure that everyone is on the 'same page' as I am on this one...

The description says to "creatively photograph an apple", not "an Apple".

Since the Apple brand of computers always starts with a capital "A", then I will be assuming that if the shot does not include an apple fruit, then it's DNMC.

Is this what everyone else thinks? It's clearly stated with a lowercase 'a'...

Fine, just make sure there is a piece of fruit in the shot with your computer...
