K it's not like i'm some sort of rant aggravator, my cousin attends Laurier and he ended up failing a class because one of the profs wanted to buy weed from him and he didn't feel comfortable.

I'm also pretty sure it used to be some bizarre religious centre before it became an actual university.

Maybe he shouldn't deal in weed.

Excuse me cujee but you should not be tossing aside such a clear infringement of both ethical and legal laws in the Canadian education and justice system. A teacher purchasing weed from students is very disturbing to me as a future university student, and a school with such low ethical and legal standard not to mention possible ties to cult activity should not only be deemed Inappropriate but should be shut down by the government. Cujee please donĂ¢€™t be so quick to dismiss such facts as nonsense, and do the right thing go to York.

Yes well LanndonKane was very unclear with his forum post, simply stating a very unknown university on an international website, he could have simply discussed the matters of the marijuana incident in his original post rather than creating a useless forum making people wondering what he's talking about.

I think this issue goes deeper than just this lanndonkane character and it is important to inform lost souls like one of my good friends from school as to the dangers of laurier before they end up drinking from a bathtub filled with KOOL-AID.

To inject a note of sanity:

Wilifred Laurier University has been around since 1911, when it began life as Waterloo Lutheran Seminary. This would seem to cover the "cult" reference, though of course Lutherans aren't a "cult" in any normal definition of the word. The University went completely non-denominational in 1973, when it acquired its current name. It has over 11,000 students, so it's a pretty big place. It seems to be well-regarded, pretty much.

Why would he need weed when he injects? Though I don't know just what kind of high sanity gives you... I wouldn't think it would be that much fun.... :)

wow laurier has killed my friend jon and now his cousin just stands by his body keeping it nice and cold
02/05/2010 06:54:07 PM · #20
sad news indeed...jon was lynched apparently, in some sort of degenerate cult like activity. It may have even been consentual at that point, they got to his mind near the end, he just wasn't the same person anymore :( :(

I know this Jon, he is not dead. In fact i think it is absolutely horrendous that you would lie about someone's death, especially your friends. And worse of all you insult his family member that's he's very close to on a public domain. Frankly I think you guys should be banned for making up such horrible lies.
