I was rather dismayed to see that no one has started such a thread yet... so I am taking it upon myself!

I'm leaving for Tampa in the morning, so I figured this would be one of my last opportunities to drum up some support, so here it goes:

My dad has been a true-blue cardinals fan and still is as devoted now as he was back when they sucked royally.

Man, I'm torn. I lived in Pittsburgh for two years, but the Steelers beat my Seahawks in the Super Bowl. Frankly I'm hoping for a good, close game and if that is the case I usually wind up cheering for whomever is behind at half. Comeback wins are great.

I'm a Packers fan, but well, we don't need to dwell on that.

However, in elementary school, I was a steelers fan -- you know with OJ, Tarkenton and those guys. AND, it just "feels" that the Cardinals don't "fit" Arizona. Do cardinals even live in arizona????? (rhetorical/joking question) I think of roadrunners and stuff when I think of Arizona. NOT cardinals.

So, for this matchup --

I doubt very much Cards will win the bowl. But I do think they'll cover (6.5 right now) due to their strong defense... as long as they can avoid turnovers!
I'm guessing Steelers win the bowl by 3 points.

As a St louis Native I'm torn on this game. I like Warner, since he brought a Superbowl, the kicker Neil Rackers is from St Louis(who was in a wedding that I photographed this year) and I like their wide receivers, however....I can't stand Bill Bidwell and think he is one of the worst owners in the league and doesn't deserve a team much less a superbowl ring. So I will be happy and sad regardless of the outcome, but more likely than it will be a Steelers win anyway. Have fun in Tampa!

I don't care. I don't have any feelings for either team; and, I don't think sitting in front of a boob-tube watching two teams I don't care about and pigging out on extra fat is enjoyable. Most championship games end up being blowouts and really boring. All things considered, I'd rather be skiing.
