It's got a lot of potential. I would crop a bit from the right side, as it's a little distracting - maybe cut to the middle of the second post. Other than that, it's a pretty good shot, in my opinion.

I really liked the colors and all. I think I might have framed it differently, like taken it from a bit further away so as to catch the right side of the fountain too. This would have also taken in more lights from the building behind too.

So why didn't you retake it during the allowed time?

I like the fountain, but a couple of things are bothering me. The whole photo seems to be a bit crooked, maybe straighten it out in a photo editing program, maybe try to line up the center of the fountain, so that it is perfectly vertical. I don't know if I like the close cropping, or maybe it is not close enough (I can never make up my mind, that is why I take so many photos!), and the backgound on the right is a little distracting. Other than that, I like the fountain spraying, and the motion that it creates in the photo, and the lighting in the fountain is nice, and the shine on the wet pavement I like also. Keep up the good work!

No time :(

Also, I left the Love Park sign in because I am from Philadelphia, and I wanted for it to be not so obvious where I was from, but if you see the sign then you would know.

is that love park? the building in the background with all the windows is quite distracting. i would have centered the fountain in the composition as the uneven water flow provides enuf interest. I might have also moved back (or zoomed out a bit) to give a little more of the patio (here's where i'd follow the rule of thirds vertically :) - 1/3 base, 2/3 water.

I can't decide between three pictures, all completely different. I always seem to pick the wrong one to submit on this site...lol
Should I submit beautiful scenery? Or the one that may cause an emotional reaction? Or play it real safe and put in some pretty little detail pic?
