Hey, just thought I'd give a shout out on the boards. Just got on the site last week, and like what I'm seeing so far. trying to get settled and everything figured out, pics up, etc...but hello to all!

Hey Beck, just joined myself!
I'm just watching stuff for a day or two to get used to the feel of the site, don't want to do any newbie annoying stuff!
Pretty cool site by the looks of things, this is exactly what I need to improve my photography, I'm too comfortable shooting big landscapes over and over!
Anyway, welcome!

Slippy fee huh? Sounds like a fee I don't wanna have to pay. Yeah, getting the feel for it all if you could call it that right now.
Landscapes are some of my favorites to do, but not the long range of them. I have become a big fan of the close shots, but I think you're right covert, differently gives you a wider variety of things to challenge you to shoot.
I'm going to have to check into this initiation thing. Perhaps a cult/sorority thing of some sort. |

They're currently working on a medication for DPC addictions.
Anyways, welcome! You'll love it here. I owe a lot of what I know about photography to DPC. Just try to become involved in commenting, critiquing. It allows you to look at photographs in an analytical way that will help you grow, not to mention make a few friends along the way. It's a lot of fun and forces you to think a little bit out of the box.

Right, the little bugger is fighting a bit, but once I get it in the box I'll send it to you by Fed-Ex. I'll label it perishable, wouldn't want its little nuts getting mouldy. It should be with you by New Year...or perhaps should use UPS, U Posted Squirrels! |
