how about a simple challenge for a change, ie.
landscape
sea scape
rivers
mountains
flowers
???

| It has to be something everyone has access to, this more or less rules out seascapes, rivers, and mountains. |

Why not Landscape Revisited? That practically covers all the aforementioned topics. But please wait for at least a month until I can get some green in my shot......don't quite have all our snow gone here on the Rock yet. :)

| To get the flag item sorted out, why not make "Flag" a new challenge. Everybody can put their "flag-feelings" into a photograph. Voting on this one will be a good one. |

| Something simple, like your suggestions, would probably draw 300 or more entries, and we have some pretty high profile posters who get bent out of shape when they have to vote on that many. I don't mind the big challenges and kind of prefer the simple topics, but the calls for changes in the rules/voting procedures are pretty scary. |
