I'm using Canon Zoombrowser software, and my CanonPowerShot A40 to download the card from my CoolPix 5700, and then putting it in PS 6.0. I can only get it to 157kb.
Is there a way to squeeze it tighter? |

This is my second post in the forum. The purpose is to say that I figured it out. It was real simple. DUH.
Hopefully next time I'll be a more useful forum member.

You could go just a bit smaller then 640 pixels. Or if it is for advance editing you can blur the background a bit. |

Hi Scott, no need to resize,( I think everyone should post at least 640) PS will allow saving right down to 1%
It looks crap but a happy medium will generate a great lookin picture using the save for web option, and in PS7 it gives you a preview along side, not sure about PS6 but the web option will still be there somewhere. |

The best way is go in FIle and do Save for Web then you can decide the quality and put below 150k |

Interesting follow up is... When you resize your entries for the challenge (usually at 640x480 pixels), what Quality (1% to 100%) are you able to use while keeping the size at 150KB? I usually can only manage about 75% most of the time.
But for the "Silhouette" challenge I bet a lot of you are able to save your entry at a lot high quality since there could be a lot of "dead" pixels (pure black, etc). I was able to save my entry at 98% quality this time. Anyone else?
