Anybody up for a slice of life side challenge?
The idea is to take and post one picture each day for each day in November. The goal is to record something that happens each day and post with why you took the picture or what it means to you.
Suggestions:
1. Step a bit out of your comfort zone - new photographic technique, pp technique, share something important, do a self portrait, take a candid, etc.
2. Keep up on posting and commenting.
3. Record in your comments why you took picture, what it is, how you felt, etc.
4. This isn't about creating a great picture every time but more about exploring yourself and others in the DPC community.
5. When you really, really don't feel like taking a picture: take lenscap off, click, lenscap on. See rule 4.
6. Your spouse and kids make great subjects. If they're not used to it by now, they will be by the end of November!
7. List processing steps if you think others may not know the technique.
8. Boring, mundane, and posting several days at once are allowed.
9. If you can't do every single day post what you have. We're not keeping score.
10. Don't give up if you miss a few days.
Rule:
1. Have fun.
The above suggestions can be revised as necessary.
It's a great chance to learn about ourselves, others, and try new things. It's also cathartic.
For those who want to play, post here and I'll update the list. I'll create the picture thread at the end of the month.

| Hey I'm pretty new to DPC but I would love to get in on this side challenge if I could. I'm a student and I'd love to have this to do every day to break up the depressing monotony of college =0 ... Thanks! |
