I just came across this article and thought I'd share since Halloween is soon. I also thought it might make for an interesting Challenge if it hasn't been done before or if it's been a long time since it was done.

is a fun thing to do and a good idea.
I did one sort of like this to play a joke on the staff where I used to work. The building was a hospital back in the early 1900's and was rumored to have a ghost or two in it. So one night I took this picture then added the moon and if you look at the full size image, you will notice a nurse in the upstairs window.
I printed it out 8x10 and had it in a locked display case showing off historical items on the buildings birthday...we actually had a local historian (and nut job) try and purchase the image from me so that he could prove the building was haunted. lol I played with him for a while before I finally told him I created the image. I don't think he was very happy with me, he was pretty serious about the haunted claims. I also had a few Army soliders that refused to stay after hours alone because of the picture, lol it was mean but oh so fun. The picture is still in the building but I actually wrote on the back of it that it is fake, in case someone else starts to freak out.

It's not spooky, but it could be with a few little changes.

I'll bet you had a lot of fun fooling people with that picture! I haven't tried it yet but it does look like it would be fun to do.
Beecee, I like your picture too. :) |

Hey, my second challenge here had a "ghostly" appearance. My wife was actually a bit bewildered that I could make such a face. I honestly learned a lot making this one.

I did this one a while back for the "Six" challenge. Was pretty fun, but tricky to get 6 people ghosts to quickly run out of the frame at the same time!
eta: i love that series from Coley... very spooky.

This is not exactly on the subject, but it turned out as I expected it would.

In this one, there appears to be a ghost of a Seminole indian, standing, with a rifle over his shoulder, in front of the tree on the left. I didn't see it until I put it on screen.

So, that one's a "real" ghost picture, not one you made? lol! |

Scott, did your membership just expire? I get this message when I try to view your image: "This image is owned by a user who is no longer a member and therefore is not viewable at this time."
