| I have noticed this trend for awhile now. As you say, the idiots are ruining a good site by their 1's and 2's votes as soon as rollover has started. I think the council should have some way of monitoring those that must get their jollies by their fast low votes. They are in it just for the fun of feeling superior by giving low scores and no comments. |

I'm pretty sure it isn't for technical issues but honestly I sort of expected this and that's okay. I'm just surprised I haven't gotten my first DNMC comment yet for thinking out of the box. |

I see the same thing. I COULD have gone to the zoo and gotten some majestic shots but, the challenge stated, "in their natural habitats".
Not sure though that it will be penalized. It seems that if it's a technically wonderful shot, the actual criteria may not be as scrutinized as long as it's "wildlife". That puts those of us who stuck to challenge criteria at a definite disadvantage...unless, of course, we live in Africa or, some exotic area where these types of wildlife creatures run freely! ;) |

And to think I took the time to trudge to and through a wildlife area, get covered in burrs and thistle, muddied shoes and cramped knees from crouching to get my final shot....*SIGH* Shoulda gone to the zoo! At least I could have had ice cream! ;)
