So I found something online while "boredom surfing" and stumbled across NYIP So i was wondering what any of you thought about this. for $349 you get 16 lessons 7 learn from the experts audio CD essons a weekend workshop lesson - 2 DVD set
monthly web site uploads
personal student advisor
audio recorded analysis of your photos you submit
a gray card..(???) and then a graduation certificate...

so has anyone tried this or know anyone who did.. what's your imput?

I just finished the Professional Photography course last month. It was well worth it. I learned a lot.

there are many students here and many threads about NYI. do a search you will find lots of info!

Have a look at the School of Photography.com. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles NYIP boast about but the course material is much the same. Every student also has access to their tutor via email for any questions they may have and anaylisis of their project work.
