I just finished updating my blog with yesterday's pictures... lots of fun, with balloons and a parade:

I blog, but it's not all about photography. We're in the process of adopting a child from Korea, so that's really what I started the blog for, but we're just waiting to be matched right now so there's no adoption news to report yet. So in the meantime it's a little about photography, a little about my life and a lot of me rambling about nothing. :) You're welcome to read it and if you're interested in adoption stories, stick around because eventually it's going to be full of adoption news.

I like the integration of your blog into your website. That's kinda nice. Although I have a similar "look" between my website and blog, they are completely separate. Gotcha hooked into my reader. Thanks. :-)

I have a photo blog, but I don't post it here because I do put most of my challenge entries in it. My friends and family mainly look at it. Sometimes I get these spurts of views, I don't know how that works. Usually on Saturdays I get any where from 20 to 80 views, the rest of the week I get 1 to 8 in a day. Weird. But yesterday I got this comment... "so beautiful photos, thanks...
I live in France : NICE...", and I thought she was saying my pictures were nice. I followed her link and she lives in Nice, France. LOL!!

In January 2006 I started a photo-a-day blog, as did a lot of people here. We all started together but I don't think many are still blogging. I still am and often post several photos a day. My blog:

OK, I've started a few, but always lost interest after a few posts.
My question is why blog? I mean, what is it that you have to say that's important enough to put out there for all to read? I've read some that range from "Way too much information" blogs like "Hey, I just posted the video of my annual colonoscopy." to the "Look at me!" blogs with posts that areeally just cries for attention. |

I started a blog to try and raise awareness about adopting shelter dogs.

I want to start a different one, but most of the time I feel like I'm just typing for myself, doesn't seem like anyone, but my family/friends reads the other one. |
