Has the Pentax AF issue improved with k200 or K20d? The focus issue is a huge problem with my k100d even in normal light with a fast lens. This is what prompted me to switch to canon. But i kept the k100 to shoot infrared because the canon cant. I'd like to sell the k100 and upgrade to the k200, but if the af issue still exists i wont bother.

I haven't used the K200D or K20D, but when I was shopping for cameras and comparing the K10D against the then-current models from other manufacturers, I was impressed with the K10D's autofocus speed.

Hey David -- I've never noticed a huge focus issue with my K100D. Though it can hunt in low, flat light I've always attributed that to the lens, not the camera because it happens most often with my tamron extended (f/6.3) and rarely with my 14mm or 18-50 (both f/2.8). Can you be more specific about the AF problem you've seen? (My new K200D shows up Monday, and I can let you know if that has the same issue you've seen after I test that one out)

I've had the K100D for a year and just got a K20D yesterday and the K20 is alot better with AF.
