| ok, m local store wants to charge me 40 bucks a day to rent an Xti sooo as some of you know my Xti is broken and in for repair, anybody know where i cn find a good deal on renting a XTi? or anyone on here want to do a rental system? i really need a camera, sooo can you list where to rent i googled best i found was 199 bucks for 4 weeks for body only |

| Just a thought. If you are going to spend that kind of money to rent why don't you look for a used rebel 300/350. Then you would have a backup for your camera if this ever happens again. |

I don't think they rent cameras except for the IR Canon Rebel.

Not only that... but if you later decide you don't need the backup any longer, you can probably get most of your money back by selling it. You'll get *none* of your rental money back.

| Vistek here in Canada wants $80 day, or $240 week for an XTi. Your quoted prices are pretty good as is from where I sit! |

Yup! A rental place near me wanted around £60 (near enough $120) a day for a lens! The 300/350 idea does sound like a winner though. |
