I edited this headshot last night and the changes were very minimal, just some cloning, light and color balance adjustments. I went back and looked at it again this morning though and something bothers me about it. What do you think??

Not at all. Looks like natural creamy light rather than photoshop. I think you did a great job.

Definitely not. I love the look of the edited version.

You did a great job on the editing. It looks very natural...and she is beautiful with wonderful skin.

No... you've done a very nice job of making your edit look natural. wonderful work.

Thanks, she is just so blonde and has that classic american girl look I didn't want to make her look like barbie.

Looks good to me. The teeth may, just may, be a little on the bright side but it may also just be my uncalibrated monitor. Everything else looks great. Good job!

I like the edited version, it does not look over the top, I think the lighting came out very nice. One possible suggestion is maybe changing the crop to omit the hole effect under her right arm which is a little distracting, but overall a very well done shot.

Looks great. Not over-edited at all. It still looks very natural.

Very nicely done with the edit, I wouldn't change anything.

I think it's a GREAT edit.
The only comment I have is that it'd be worth checking whether a couple of the tiny marks you've removed are freckles or spots/blemishes. If they are spots/blemishes I'd leave your final as it is; if they are freckles I'd pull them back in - there's just one on her neck and a couple on her cheek (near the one you've left in).

I think it's one of the best Head-shots posted on the site.

One minor suggestion. I added some very light Gaussian Blur from the ear/top of her head back. Very, very common these days...often done a bit heavier than what I did, for that matter. Hope you don't mind.

This rocks Claire. What you might be seeing is a slight difference in the skin color between her face and neck/upperbody. I've also come across this in my Headshots... Sometimes I need to darken the body because the face has all the make-up....
Other than that, it's lovely and clear and her eyes are rockin with that green tank. Nice work!

Good work. Depending on what the photo is for, I might have taken a slightly different approach: If the photos are for the model, I would have left in some of the beauty spots that you cloned out as they are part of her permanent appearence (as opposed to spots/pimples which come and go). For stock etc I'd have taken them out just like you did.
