The truth is I am so bored with the threads lately that I would I try and throw some gas on a fire and see who would respond. I knew "LAZY" would affect someone but hahahahahahaha....
Anyone I just said people are lazy, I never said that Simms was lazy and he should comment 100% on every challenge. I'll do you one better... I'm one lazy SOB, just ask my wife. I gave up trying to comment on every picture. Actually I gave up caring about how people are affected by comments and what is said in threads. I admit that I got pretty heated in the past but no matter what one tries to do or say there is always someone shooting you back down.
So let me say this now to those that read the threads, if I leave a comment that says "I don't like your picture", and it hurts your feelings let me know and I will remove it.

Thank you  rennie, I've been wondering about the high comments on this challenge and all mine are useful comments, no single word comments. I don't remember the last time I saw this in a challenge. |

Definitely a front page image Brian, and a dam good score as well..... Hope it ribbons for you, as you really deserve it.....

A comment on here or a comment on your image? I havent finished voting yet..
26 comments is very good though and I reckon a 6.5 in this challenge could very well be a ribbon... most definitely a Honorable mention. Fingers crossed!! |

Long time since I entered a challenge image. I am pleasingly surprised to see that my picture seems to be well received, without being "stock-like".

| I started at a 6.2 and am now down to a 5.9 and seem to be holding steady. Thank you for all the encouraging comments form people and a thank you to all those who took the time to give their constructive criticism to help make the photo better. Everyone's comments were greatly appreciated. |

I am new here but i struggle to understand how my entry could score a 2 or 3.
Wouldn't that indicate that it did not meet the challenge??
Could someone explain why such low scores??

A few very low scores mean one or more of the following:
- someone was cranky
- someone hates your subject, colors, composition, etc.
- someone missed your point
So you have to figure out what you want to learn. I take a few low scores as just meaning a few folks really didn't like my image. That's fine. Ribbon winners get those low scores, too, so no one pleases everyone on every image.
If you want to learn how (and whether) to improve, pay attention to your comments. If you didn't get comments that helped you with that, post the image in a thread and ask people for their opinions. I left you a comment.
