I've had two people comment with their definition of dappled and both left me scratching my head. Of course that means my shot did not meet their definition. Gotta love it.

Guys don't be mad at me when this is over, I just posted comments on what "I" thought when I looked at them.

This is going to be a low scoring challenge. I wouldn't be surprised if our blue is a 6.5

People are harsh on here, but you guys have to give yourselves more credit. I'm still kinda new on here (first submission was movie titles) but I have yet to see a BAD photographer. These are some very beautiful pictures. As far as I'm concerned, you guys are all fantastic to even get past the nerves and submit something!

Photography is a part of you, and it is really hard for me to even show it, sometimes. And alot of people on here submit every week. I don't know yet if my nerves can take it! :oP

Sorry, but. I don't mean to throw a rock at the birthday cake, but, just because the challenge is "Dappled Light" does not mean for the challenger to take pictures of dappled light.

I scored high for those challengers that found an artistic feel for the dappled light effect.

I scored not so high for boring images of dappled light.

I agree. A lot of entries of dapple light but few photos with subjects illuminated by the effect.

wow you're very close to a 6!! I've gotten a LOT of 5's (and possibly lower because like yours my score is dropping rappidly) but the comments are nice! :) :-D so my spirits still cannot be crushed *hehe* :) :-D

Very interesting again this challenge, lots of 8+ scores, but then I'll get 3s and 4s. Interesting how people see things so different. I too am getting fabulous comments. Thank you commenters!
