Are there any places that sell these?

I'm looking for reflective surfaces, (and I don't know what they are called) but you use them to bounce light off of (shades?). Wouldn't hurt if they had lighting equip. as well, as I'm in need of a new flash.

If you're looking strictly for reflective surfaces, as for fill light, these you can make yourself easily. One way would be to put together a wooden frame and attach a white sheet to it, or, if you don't want to go to the trouble of that, just purchase some white poster board from your local office supply store. Also, you can purchase different sizes of opalescent perspex, but that is a lot more expensive, but there isn't the chance of breakage or tearing, as they are a lot more sturdy and easy to work with outside in the wind.

I borrow a great set of portable lamps and umbrellas from a friend who paid $2000CND for them at a local camera store....they're amazing.
P.S. with a pro camera they can hook right up to the flash and fire right when you press the shutter all the way....I can't express my affinity enough!

Did you pick these up at a local camera shop? I have been thinking about making my own, but being the American! consumer that I am, was wondering about some quality ones that I might be able to purchase.

Thank all of you for your replies. Lighting is an essential part of photography, ane frankly, I'm looking to "kick it up a notch". (c:

You might consider those spring-loaded collapsible windshield covers people use to protect the dashboard -- they are often silver on one side, and sometimes a solid color on the other. With a few clamps or clothespins you probably rig up a variety of reflective arrangements.
