I am new to this site, having only posted two photos so far. I really appreciate the comments. The interesting part is that many of the comments are directly opposite to each other, proving that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You can get the basics right and have a nice shot and yet there disagreement. As someone who doesn't like rules, this is great.

| Hi Russ. I've found that to be true, also. I post a photo that I like and don't worry too much about the personal preferences of each viewer. The technical comments are the ones that I hope for and are the most helpful. Sometimes, everybody agrees that one element is not right and I have to hang my head and admit that maybe...just maybe...they might all be right. (Such a humbling experience.) I'm definitely learning by association. It's a great site. Welcome and good luck in your challenges. |
